Race Report November 2012

The final race of 2012 saw a new male course record of 9.04 set by Stuart Gibson.  This was Stuart’s first time at the race and despite occasional icy patches produced a great run and I’m sure I heard some discussion amongst some of the leading runners looking to break 9 minutes in 2013.

In 2012 the event has raised £680 from entry fees, which has been matched by my employer, Clydesdale Bank, and donated to The Princess of Wales Hospice / Help the Hospices.

Thanks all for taking part, to my colleagues who have helped at registration and timing, and to Kevin for building and maintaining this site

There will be a break in December with the event starting again on Friday 25th January.

Look out too for an additional race pencilled in for Thursday 7th March when I hope to have a former world champion athlete at a special holding of the race.

Thanks

Alasdair
