Race Report September 2013 – 2 years on!!
The run on 27th September will be the second anniversary since I took on the admin of this event.
In that time we have had almost 400 people take part in at least one run. From a place / timing perspective thankfully our maximum single race entry has been 74 – but I’m sure we could cope with a few more. We’ve raised £1,690 from race entry fees the majority of which, when donated to Help the Hospices, has been matched by Clydesdale Bank as its charity partner.
Thanks to all who have taken part; my colleagues who help out at registration, timekeeping etc and Kevin Brydon who manages this site, runs occasionally but more often ends up heading out to the turning point to guide the runners.
Hope to see many of you in September and the months ahead.
